Set well away from settlements, the hotel offers plenty of good opportunities for nature tourism. It’s a nice, clean little place, though the rooms are quite small and really only just large enough for a solo traveller. Service is good and friendly, but I’ve sometimes had to wait quite a while at reception.

The room was nice and large, with a fresh toilet, and the lodge has a countryside feel with hunting specialties. The beds are hard enough for masochists, and the full carpets are a problem if you have allergies. The rustic restaurant wasn’t really to my taste.

The dinner menu is very good, even if there isn’t much to choose from, and breakfast was excellent too. Service was very nice, and my room was clean with an excellent bed.

Very friendly staff, good prices, and large rooms in a new, clean facility. The food and breakfast were excellent. It’s only 8km from the Herzsprung Autobahn Exit.

The rooms were spacious and very clean. A nice place, easy to recommend.
