The pools were clean, and breakfast was very good. The staff there were friendly and professional, and I appreciated that dogs were allowed. The room decor and the rest of the place feel a little dated, but it's fine.

We had a lovely stay in a beautiful, peaceful hotel and setting. The reception staff, cleaning ladies and some of the restaurant waiters were smiling and helpful. The restaurant service from a few others was a letdown. We felt more like a nuisance in an institution than welcome guests. They gave very strict instructions, and when we tried to pour tea ourselves after dinner, it felt almost like getting our fingers smacked. I know there are signs in German saying not to serve ourselves, but it's easy to miss them if your German isn't strong. Maybe the friendly, service-minded staff could show the others how to handle it. And when the weather's nice, it would be lovely to have tables outside, as in the restaurant. Still, a lovely stay overall.

The hotel is a bit far from other bars and restaurants, which does make it peaceful and easy to relax. We enjoyed a weekend here, with plenty of parking and even a Tesla destination charger for EVs. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Rooms felt a little dated, but the generous breakfast and cozy, decent spa area made up for it.

The breakfast buffet had lots of choice and was kept topped up. Staff were really nice and did their best to make guests happy. Even during corona times, we could use the great facilities by making an appointment, which helped keep everyone safe. All in all, a very nice stay.

The grounds are beautiful, and this is a lovely old hotel and spa. The outdoor barrel sauna is just a few feet from the Baltic Sea shore. It's mid-September and rainy and blustery, so pack accordingly. We haven't tried the bar or had any food yet. Heading downstairs now :)
