The apartment was nicely furnished and clean, but the underground parking space was quite small and wouldn't suit a large SUV or similar vehicle. In the evenings, the restaurant diagonally across the street sometimes brought noise and cooking smells from its kitchen, which could bother someone with a sensitive nose. There's also construction work going on in the neighboring building, with some minor noise.
The house and apartment are recommendable, and the apartment itself is very well equipped, though it could use a freezer compartment. The underground garage doesn't work for larger cars. The surrounding area is the letdown. Villa Vilmblick may have had direct beach access many years ago, but now the grounds outside the property are overgrown and neglected. Many nearby buildings are vacant, and the restaurants and snack bars in the "harbor" aren't inviting, with everything looking rather run-down.
Apartment 22 was fully equipped, and we really enjoyed our stay. Its two balconies let us relax in the sun while looking out over the Bodden lagoon and Vilm.
We were very happy with apartment 9. It was roomy and nicely furnished, and had a modern stove with an oven and a dishwasher. The toaster and coffee maker could perhaps be upgraded to better quality ones. There's a parking place in the underground garage, plus an elevator. A beautiful spot right by the water!
The apartment was just as described, with a lovely atmosphere that made it easy to relax. It's close to the harbor but still wonderfully quiet, and the view of the island of Vilm is magnificent. The one small downside is the underground garage, which seems sized for Trabants and doesn't really fit the larger cars people drive today.
