The pool and sauna were amazing, and reception were really kind to us. Breakfast was okay, though I’d suggest better coffee if that’s possible. Five stars from me, thanks!

The restaurant and bar staff are the best people in Germany, I’d say. So friendly and professional. Thank you!

We chose the hotel almost at random, so the quality, cleanliness, and especially the friendly staff were a lovely surprise. They went out of their way to answer our questions and even offered us an upgrade after another guest cancelled. The restaurant is nice and reasonably priced. The pool was closed for maintenance during our stay, though it looks nice when open.

The sheep really are there, grazing along a lovely walking and cycling path behind the hotel. It’s a charming Gasthaus, good for a peaceful, calming stay, with nicely furnished rooms and a pleasant atmosphere. Staff were attentive and friendly, maybe the best service I’ve had in Germany. The food was nice too, and they can cater to quite a range of dietary requirements.

I’ve never been spoken to so rudely by staff. We arrived hoping to eat at the restaurant without a reservation, and the waiter seemed almost angry with us about that. He did seat us, but the service was awful: many of our orders never arrived, and he was rude all evening.
