City Lodge Apartment

We paid about €200 for three nights over the weekend. It’s basically a one-room apartment with an open kitchen and bathroom. The bed sits in the middle, beside the only window. Though the ground floor is raised above street level, passersby can still look straight inside, which made me a bit uncomfortable. It was also hot, so we had to open the windows in the evening to cool the room. There’s plenty of space in the living room and bathroom. The room is nicely furnished with fake plants, side tables, a dining table, TV, lots of books and DVDs, games, and children’s coloring books, a thoughtful touch. The bathroom has both a shower and bathtub, plus a washing machine. The shower drain is slow or clogged, so water takes a while to go down. The hair dryer is very loud and vibrates hard, so I’d bring my own next time. The apartment, front door, and gate all use codes. The nearest tram stop and supermarket are a five-minute walk away. It was quiet at night, and we didn’t hear or see the other tenants. I think it’s good value and perfectly enough for a weekend.
