Hotel Plagwitzer Hof

Getting around was easy, and the location made exploring simple. Nearby restaurants were good, and the transport links were handy, though walking around was easy too. The rooms had been renovated and felt almost brand new, and everything was very clean. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Free parking, Wi-Fi and hot water all worked perfectly. Great value and a pleasant place to stay.

The breakfast was very good and served on time. Rooms were good, with a bit of an old-school feel, though the bathroom was very small.

The room was quiet and tidy, with plenty of space, including in the bathroom, and the furniture and amenities were solid and functional. A charming place that feels a little lost in time, with fair prices and friendly, helpful service. Free parking is easy, either on site or on nearby streets. Late arrivals and very early departures can be arranged on request, which is a big advantage when stopping over on a trip. Short-notice bookings by phone are possible too. Great value for money.

Our family room was on the fourth floor, and there’s no elevator, but there was plenty of space for four people with three double beds and a cosy terrace. Breakfast was really nice and generous, and the parking felt safe at the back of the hotel. The area looked very run down, with lots of graffiti, but the people out on the streets were friendly and there were great pizza places.
