Before booking, I asked whether arriving late, around 1:30 am, would be possible. The property said yes and told me I'd get a password to enter. I've attached screenshots of our email exchange. After I booked, Booking.com informed me that my reservation had been canceled as a “no show,” even though the property knew I would arrive late. They still charged me for the stay, so I had to find somewhere else to sleep. The property rejected my refund request, as shown in the last attached email.

I called while on the bus to Leipzig to update them about my arrival time. They told me there had been a booking mistake and no room was available. I'd received several messages, but nobody had thought to tell me this beforehand.

We arrived 45 minutes after the 7 pm check-in time and tried many times to reach the owner at every number provided, without success. He left us stranded until 10 pm, when we finally found another hotel with a room. What a nightmarish experience.

It wasn't what we expected, and there was no breakfast.
