The rooms were clean, breakfast was okay, and it’s fairly cheap for a family room. You’re also quite close to the city center. Still, for a hot summer visit when you need the window open, I can’t recommend it. There’s no air conditioning, just a fan, and a large waste facility next door brought a strong smell outside. What sounded like waste glass handling continued noisily through the night. I imagine it would be a good choice in winter.

The rooms were clean and the staff friendly, but the surroundings were awful. A recycling station next door smelled like rotting flesh, and noise from it and the trains carried on at night. In winter, when you don’t need to keep the windows open, it would probably be all right.

We paid 82 bucks for two people, and for what was promised it was just right. We stayed two nights for a concert in Leipzig, and this was by far the best and cheapest option. It’s a beautiful place once you’re inside, even if the exterior isn’t much to look at. The tram station is 15 minutes away. Our room had two beds, a wardrobe, TV, table, two chairs, and a private bathroom with a toilet, shower and sink. There was free tea to make in the room, plus free Wi-Fi.

The price for what you get is good. Breakfast is great, the rooms are clean and comfortable though small, and there’s free parking and strong Wi-Fi. The shared areas are cramped, and the walls are thin, so you hear noisy neighbors. It’s an odd-looking container hotel outside the central district.

The hotel has been renovated, and the rooms feel new and clean, with very good beds. The staff are really friendly. There’s a kettle with complimentary coffee and tea in the room, and the hotel is close to the city center and shops.
