The restaurant brought us back both nights of our stay, and the three-course meals were thoughtfully put together. The soup especially moved me. I'm a chef and a foodie, and the feeling in that dish inspired me. The chef has a bright future. Service was great, too, and they handled our English and terrible German so well. Try their Sparkling, too. We left with a case of the Riesling Brut. We stayed in the guesthouse attached to the restaurant, and that was wonderful as well. One of our best experiences in Europe so far.

Such a nice evening, with great food made from top quality ingredients and a lovely, modern setting. The food felt worth more than the price. The staff were friendly and clearly trying hard. A little more coaching would help, since they don't have a gastronomy background. I'd also be happy to pay more for slightly larger portions.

We had an excellent room for our two-night stay, and the management and staff were lovely and helpful. We ate at the restaurant one evening and enjoyed the very good food. Such a lovely place.

This hotel has a fresh, renovated look, with big, stylish, clean rooms. The view is beautiful, and the Mosel river is just a few steps away. A real pearl along the river. The new couple who have reopened it are so welcoming and provide the best service. I'd recommend staying here, especially if Bernkastel is part of your trip, it's only a short drive away. Regards, Even and Marilyn

We waited 1:30 h for the food, even though the restaurant wasn't full. At these prices, I expected a lot more. The risotto was too plain and simple, and the dessert was also far too basic for the price.
