The room was spotless and the beds really comfortable, and we had a relaxing stay in this lovely property with its well-kept garden. The staff were nice and breakfast was very tasty. Dinner was outstanding too. I had the schnitzel with spetzle and mushroom sauce. We stopped here during our tour through Germany and enjoyed a lovely walk along a path through the neighboring farms. The town is very cute. I'd highly recommend staying here if you're in the Lemgo area or one of the nearby towns.

I stopped here for lunch with friends while vacationing in Germany. The place was beautiful and had a really welcoming feel. My Greek salad was delicious, and I'll definitely come back 👍🏼.

My family and I spent the night at The Resting Place and had a wonderful stay. Everything, from the hotel decor to the dining area and gardens, was gorgeous and thoughtfully done. The calm atmosphere and the staff made for a peaceful night in this lovely small town. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we all slept well. We had a very nice dinner at the restaurant that evening, with excellent food and service. I particularly enjoyed the schnitzel with french fries and a fresh side salad. Breakfast the next morning had a wide selection for everyone, and all the food was fresh, tasty and high quality. The restaurant staff were kind and attentive. I'd highly recommend staying here if you get the chance.
