Kasino Hotel

The rooms were huge, with a touch of luxury and some of the best beds we’ve had in a long time. It’s a high-quality hotel with a restaurant and a very good breakfast.

The public areas are enormous and grand, with the old buildings well preserved and maintained. As part of Bayer, it has the same appeal as many of their historic buildings. Our room was really large, clean, and fitted with good-quality, practical fixtures. I was impressed by the whole stay and want to return.

Parking is available for a fee, and the location is far from the city center, so ordering Uber Eats or Wolt wasn’t convenient. The staff at Kasino’s reception were great and spoke fluent English. After a long, hectic journey, they made us feel comfortable and looked after 🥰. The room, cleanliness, and facilities were all good. Food was a different story. We told them several times that we’re vegetarian, but breakfast was just bread and flakes, and we got by with milk for dinner. They made an omelette, but that isn’t really vegetarian food. It was disappointing, especially for a four-night stay, and we’d expected the hotel chef to help us find suitable meals. It’s a decent choice if vegetarian food isn’t an issue, but for a leisure trip I’d choose somewhere in the city to make meals easier.

The staff were incredibly friendly the whole time, and every meal was wonderful. Our room was excellent, spacious, and clean. The location is tucked away on a quaint street and isn’t bad, but there aren’t many shops or sights within walking distance.
