The room was clean, the price was great, the internet was fast, and parking was easy. But I was cold the whole time. It felt about 3 degrees too chilly, even with the room and bathroom heating turned up high. I think the heaters may have been too small for the room.

The hotel wasn’t quite as good for me, though the towels and beds were clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was awesome, honestly better than I expected. You have to eat here one day.

The staff were friendly, and my room was clean, so it’s okay for a short stay. Still, the hotel feels dated, with some old-looking furnishings that could use minor renovations. It’s also fairly remote, so if you don’t have a car, allow extra travel time. There are more modern places in more central locations.

I stayed for two weeks and would gladly return if I’m in the area again. The owner is lovely and makes you feel at home right away, and she cooks fabulously. The rooms are clean and nice, the beds are very comfortable, and the shower temperature was good. I did miss having a small refrigerator in the room. Hotel Sternenlicht is a very good hotel.
