The staff made us feel very welcome, and the ice cream and sorbet were delicious. We stayed for a couple of nights while the hotel was nearly finished, so everything felt newly refurbished. The rooms were lovely and comfortable, with great showers and lots of thoughtful little touches. Getting around was easy too, with the train and tram close by, straightforward access to France, Switzerland and Germany, and the Black Forest not far away.

The room was clean, breakfast was nice, and the staff were friendly. A nice hotel.

Breakfast was amazing, and I loved the beautiful room, heated bathroom floor, and the bar and lobby. I’d definitely book here again when I’m visiting the Basel / Lörrach area.

We chose this place because of the good reviews, but our stay was a big disappointment. For 160 euros a night including breakfast, the junior suite looked like a cheap roadside motel, as the pictures show. I wouldn’t recommend it and definitely won’t return. Sorry.

On our way to Italy we had a wonderful stay. Everything was brand new and the rooms were clean. There’s a nice ice cream shop outside, and the bus and tram are easy to get to.
