Osserhotel

We’ve stayed at the Osserhotel several times with our dog and have always been warmly welcomed. The breakfast and other items were excellent, and my wife enjoyed helping with breakfast and clearing the table. The owner suggested booking directly through the hotel instead of using a booking site. We also really liked their Irish Osser beer.

The owner was very friendly, and breakfast was generous with everything you could want. We like secluded places, so the location gets five stars from us. The hotel was completely empty during our stay. The room was clean and okay, though a small table on the balcony would have been nice. The pool is a little dated but perfectly clean, with good water quality. We didn’t mind that there was no Wi-Fi and would definitely return.

We were satisfied overall. We stayed from October 3rd to 6th at this nice hotel, which is good for relaxing. The room was clean, though not very modern, and the bathroom with its shower was small, but that was no problem. Breakfast was a plentiful buffet, and you could ask for more if something ran out. The Panoramabad looked lovely, though we didn’t use it. What we really missed was a restaurant. It was closed because of staff shortages, so we had to drive elsewhere for every meal, which was disappointing. There was no common room either, so our four families couldn’t sit together in the evenings. That was a shame too.

The hotel is tucked away in a quiet spot, with Lam just a few minutes away if you want more to do. We had a great weekend at the end of October. Our annex room was clean and had everything we needed, including a sofa and table. After a strenuous hike, we relaxed with a swim in the well-kept, very clean pool. Breakfast was more than ample, with something for everyone. They even surprised my wife with two glasses of sparkling wine for her birthday, a lovely touch. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. Definitely recommended!
