For a task that takes ten minutes, you still have to wait two weeks for an appointment to register your apartment. This is a small town, and when you turn up, there’s usually nobody around. Even when there are people, it’s only two or four at most, while all the offices sit empty. It feels like the staff just don’t want to work. The employees seem to have no motivation, morals, or sense of responsibility, and the officials and civil servants have lost their humanity. Bravo, that’s how the country moves forward.

The woman at the information desk was very unfriendly and kept us waiting longer than necessary. We arrived about an hour before our appointment because we had an errand nearby, but she left us sitting there the whole time without warning us in advance. At least our baby was asleep.

Lohmar sadly isn’t what it used to be. The man at the information desk was really unfriendly, which is why I’m giving one star. Ms. C. Mandel, though, was very helpful and deserves five stars.

The people at the information center, ID card office, and city planning department were all really nice and friendly. Many thanks.

Getting an appointment is fairly quick, and the staff are both helpful and very friendly.
