The view is great, and the rooms are okay. The location is somewhat noisy, though closing the windows makes it manageable. What was completely unacceptable was being made to leave 1.5 hours before the 12 pm checkout. I had explained that I had a fever and felt unwell, and those extra hours would have meant a lot. We won't recommend the place or come back.

The welcome was unfriendly, and when I raised concerns about the room they were brushed off or even mocked. It felt like making money mattered more than guests' well-being. During COVID, there was a bottle of disinfectant at reception, but reception was staffed only two hours a day, and with all the doors locked it couldn't be reached at other times. As for the room, the Spanish furnishings didn't make up for the problems. The wardrobe was dusty, the shower head badly needed descaling, and the safe was broken. The bed was so bad that a decent night's sleep was out of the question. The shower gel and soap had been left half empty by the previous guest. The kitchen barely deserves the name, with just one hotplate. For a week, that left microwave meals as the realistic option. Not recommended. Once was enough.

Everything was just right, and the price was excellent for what you get.
