The staff were really friendly, and I hope they do well with a stronger menu. With fresh regional ingredients so readily available around here, I was surprised to find so many canned or processed items, including in the fitness salad. The Schnitzel tasted barely different from takeaway.

The woman who served us was great with customers, and the service was excellent. The food was fine, nothing memorable, though the Schnitzel with Kroketten was a decent plate. There’s a view of the vineyards across the Mosel. English is very limited, so you’ll need to make do with your German.

We slept brilliantly, thanks to the window blinds that made the room wonderfully dark. The room also had a lovely view, a good shower and a hair dryer. Losnich itself is peaceful, and the surroundings are quiet. There were free local drinks from 6-9pm, though I’m not sure if that was just part of our deal. The evening meals suited British tastes, and the location worked well as a base for day trips.

I’ve stayed here twice now. It’s a lovely hotel, with very good service and nice food. Room sizes vary, but every room I’ve had has been comfortable and clean.

The room was clean and the staff friendly. The beef was excellent, though the rest of the food wasn’t especially memorable. The WiFi didn’t work, and there were no TV channels in English.
