A fine sandy beach, beautiful to look at and suitable for naturists as well as kiteboarders and kite surfers. The house sits among pine trees, with the forest close by and the water nearby too. The peaceful surroundings and starry night sky make it just the place to properly unwind.

The steep metal stairs down to the beach may be difficult if you’re not very fit. The stairs at section 13 are similar, but easier to manage. We stayed in the "Pine" apartment, which was really lovely. The other apartment has a bathtub. The property is on the edge of town, about a four-minute walk to beach section 14, with the nudist beach on the right and the textile beach on the left. The dog beach begins at section 15, and the town center and promenade are just under a 20-minute walk away. Next door, you can have the evening buffet at the hotel, and breakfast too if you register in advance. The kitchen has what you need, including a fairly large fridge-freezer. Wi-Fi is only adequate at the moment, though a fiber optic connection is in the works. Our Amazon Fire TV Stick only worked with the ARD and ZDF media libraries, but television isn’t the most important thing anyway. There are two bicycles guests can use for free with a combination lock, and you can keep your own bikes in the shed. There’s one double bed, a daybed, and a sofa bed with two sleeping spaces. The double bed is supposed to be replaced next year with a new one without a footboard. Right now it’s made of two single beds with footboards, which create a raised middle ridge. We found it became a hard wall when rolling over to cuddle. I took off a star because guaranteed Wi-Fi should at least be stable, and the bed is simply outdated. If both are improved next year, it’ll be five stars.

Lubmin is well worth visiting, with the sea nearby and lovely places for long walks or hikes. Greifswald is also worth seeing. And in Wiek, the harbor and freshly smoked fish are worth checking out.

Mann has a lovely, peaceful spot in the forest, just 2 to 3 minutes from the beach. It’s gorgeous.

I’ve spent my holidays in this apartment for many years and have been completely happy with it every time. 👍♥️🏆🍀
