Boutique-Hotel Kronenstuben

The poor service was frustrating from the start. Their website didn’t say when the lobby was open, and we found out we couldn’t enter the building before the 14:00 check-in time. We also weren’t told when checkout was, so we relied on the 11:00 time in our reservation. At 10:00 the next morning, cleaning staff knocked and said we had ten minutes before we had to leave. If checkout is actually at 10:00, they should tell guests at check-in or make sure their booking partners give the right time. The whole experience felt disappointing, unfriendly, and inconsiderate.

The room was clean, pleasant, and functional, even though it had no view. We visited in summer, and it stayed comfortable inside despite having no AC. We booked a room without a fridge or mini bar, but missed that detail when making the reservation, so that was our mistake. Breakfast was available, though we didn’t try it. The staff were kind and professional. The hotel is right in central Ludwigsburg, next to a large shopping mall, and the train station is maybe a ten-minute walk away. I’d recommend it.

We spent nearly a week here, and the hotel was quiet, with a clean room and new furniture. Its central location was a real plus: the big shopping mall is opposite, and the castle and most attractions are within walking distance. The staff were very helpful and suggested places worth visiting in town and nearby. I’d definitely recommend it for a stay in Ludwigsburg.

The location made it easy to get around, right in the center and close to everything. The hotel and rooms were beautiful, and the staff were friendly, caring, and helpful. Breakfast was lovely, with plenty of choices. I’d recommend staying here :))
