The location is top class, and the apartment has really nice facilities, including a kitchen stocked with useful appliances and cutlery. Everything else was great. I took off one star because there’s no washing machine.

We’ve rented from the Engler family four times now, and it’s been a great experience every time. The apartments are bright, clean, and well equipped for both short and longer stays. Wallstrasse is at the edge of downtown, within walking distance of groceries, parks, and the other amenities in this beautiful medieval Hanseatic town.

A cozy, fresh place to stay, and the city center is lovely. I’d really recommend exploring these small cities and trying schnitzel or German sausages with sauerkraut. Don’t forget them, they’re special here and delicious.

We stayed on Gartenstrasse from Thursday to Sunday, and the location was perfect, only a 10-minute walk from the old town. The apartment was furnished with a lot of care, and we could wind down comfortably on the roof terrace in the evenings. Compliments to the host. I’d happily return anytime. I love this city.❣️
