We were really pleased with the hosts and the apartment, and would happily stay again. It’s full of character, like the old town, but it didn’t feel neglected. The place was spacious and clean, with a well-equipped kitchen and a peaceful spot in the evenings to look out at the garden with the windows open. We were greeted warmly and shown where to park. Our reserved space was a two-minute walk away, still nearer than the parking garage and cheaper. The old town is quiet, the sights are easy to reach, and there’s a bakery nearby for breakfast rolls or bread. Some of the complaints we’d read didn’t match our experience.

The parking space right in the old town was a real blessing, and we felt at home throughout our stay. It’s a beautiful house, and the hosts were so friendly and accommodating. We were surprised by how old it was: our own 1892 house feels like a new build beside it. Still, everything was top-notch. A lovely place for anyone who appreciates old buildings.

The pedestrian zone is only a three-minute walk away, and parking at €5.00 a day was a bargain. We stayed in the small first-floor apartment. It was spotless, furnished really well, and the kitchen was nicely equipped. The bed was incredibly comfortable. We had no complaints and would book it again.

The location was great, but we’ll book somewhere else next time. The welcome wasn’t very welcoming, and the furnishings felt carelessly put together. There was one cereal bowl in the kitchen but ten bread boards. All the seating was uncomfortable, the sofa was worn out, and the mattresses were a disaster. The pillows badly need replacing too. We didn’t get a restful night’s sleep.

The location worked perfectly for us: an easy walk to the old town, and still quiet. The apartment was spotless, sweetly and thoughtfully furnished, and we got a warm, hospitable welcome. We’ll be back :-)
