The single room was neat and clean, and I liked the green curtains and towels. The bed, at 90x200cm, felt too narrow for me; I’d have been more comfortable with 100 or 120 cm over 200 cm. There was a small TV with only a few German channels, and internet was available. The breakfast was a traditional German spread with plenty of variety. Management and staff felt like a warm family, and the hotel itself is a welcoming old building in the center of the old city, within walking distance of everything. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a family-like place to stay.

The setting was the highlight for me, sunny, comfortable, and relaxing. It’s a somewhat small, old-fashioned hotel, and the service was okay. Breakfast is simple but good, especially the excellent coffee. Recommend.

Shops and restaurants are nearby, and Lünen Railway Station and the Bus Stop are close too. The traditional hotel has comfortable rooms with Lünen traditional room heater. The food was good, with lots of tea choices in the restaurant, and the staff were helpful when I needed information.
