The breakfast spread was amazing, and we had a good stay overall. I was still really surprised to find that pets are allowed in the rooms. If you have allergies, be aware of that before booking, since so many people deal with allergies these days.

There wasn't even a bottle of the free water in the room, and now I'm waiting downstairs on a chair until staff arrive. I booked because my train got in late, and signed up as a member for the 14:00 Sunday checkout and free water. When I arrived, both the room and bathroom smelled of rotten prawns, apparently coming from the bathroom. There was no open reception, and I couldn't reach anyone; there wasn't phone service either. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

My parents liked the room I booked for them, and the staff were very accommodating. They gave us a room with a lovely cathedral view. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the train station. I took off one point for the small rooms and beds, and another for the limited breakfast selection and overripe bananas.

Stay away. We arrived at 00.00 and the check-in machine wasn't working. We hadn't been told how the self-check-in worked, and the emergency number didn't work either. Terrible.
