Pension Alte Wache

We were nine people and stayed one night. The two rooms in the annex are practically “small apartments,” which is a handy tip for a group. The guesthouse is very clean, and the staff are super friendly. Its location near the train station is perfect, though what I liked most was how quiet it was despite the multi-year construction site nearby. The hotel provided earplugs. The mattresses are firm, and the bathrooms are so spacious you could practically dance in them. We didn’t have breakfast, so can’t comment on that. Excellent value for money!

The quiet side street was just what I wanted, away from hotels on the main roads. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the beach bar on the Elbe River. There’s also a shed for bicycles. The room was simple and practical, and the bathroom was very clean. I appreciated the extra hand towel, so nobody had to give up their own. Breakfast was lovely, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money. If you want a quiet bed and a delicious breakfast, this is the place.

Getting there was a little harder because of the major construction at the train station, but there was no noise from the equipment. Earplugs are available, in case you need them or your fellow travelers snore ;-) The location is perfect and central, the rooms were truly a dream, and breakfast was delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything was fantastic, and I highly recommend this accommodation!

The bathroom was modern and spotless, with a lovely big shower cubicle. What a way to start the day 💛🌞! The room was clean and nicely furnished, too. Friendly, cheerful staff gave us excellent service, and breakfast 🍞🍵 left nothing to be desired.
