The cozy, warm atmosphere and friendly staff make this a great place to try proper Bavarian food. It was super delicious. I’ll come again!

The portions are moderate and the food is good, but the kitchen closes early, leaving you with few food options. There isn’t much variety in the beers either.

Good food, plus there’s an outdoor playground for children and a mini zoo where you can look at the animals.

The setting is beautiful and pastoral, and the place was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was wonderfully fresh and delicious, and the staff were friendly. Being so close to the road made it hard to sleep with the windows open.

We had a lovely supper here after the Isny Red Cross Blood drive. We hadn’t planned it, but went looking for a Schnitzel place on a recommendation and were glad we did. The interior is very nice, the menu has local and seasonal food, and the service was especially friendly and attentive. I had the Cordon bleu, while my companion chose the true Wiener Schnitzel made from veal. Both were made from scratch, and you could taste it. A pleasure for the eyes and palate, with crunchy, tasty fries and mixed vegetables, all served with a friendly smile by the efficient staff. Even though the restaurant was quite packed, our server with dark hair and 2 braids really made a difference. We’ll definitely return. Try calling ahead and reserving to make sure you get a seat at the table 😉
