Brunfels Hotel, in the Unbound Collection by Hyatt

We stayed at three Hyatt hotels across Mainz and Frankfurt, and Brunfels was our favorite of the trip. The receptionist greeted us warmly every time and was always helpful. Having a balcony in our room made the stay even nicer. Highly recommended!

We were there during Christmas market season, and the location worked really well, with the first market just down the street. The hotel was beautifully decorated for the season too. Breakfast had lots of choice, with both buffet and à la carte options. Parking was easy in the attached garage, which connects to the hotel by elevator. The location is central but a little away from the bustle. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a modern-retro look we liked, and the included minibar was a nice extra. Everyone we met on staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Hotel Brunfels met and even exceeded our expectations for a fabulous short stay. We'd gladly come back.

The first impression was lovely, with relaxing music in the beautifully decorated lobby, but a noticeable smell a bit like sewerage cut through it. The hotel also felt unusually quiet, almost as if nobody else was staying there. Our room was small but modern, with luxurious decor and excellent AC. The bed was very comfortable, though TV casting wasn’t working during our stay. The hotel has a stylish bar and restaurant with good food, and the staff were friendly, attentive, accommodating, and knowledgeable. Parking costs €27 a day, which is a bit pricey, and maneuvering can be tight. We managed with a longer vehicle, though.

I stopped here for work and had a very good stay. The hotel is fantastic, the rooms are really good, and the staff were attentive. I have little to complain about. If I’m being picky, the food is a little expensive, but it’s also very good. Thanks for the stay.
