I’ve stayed here a few times. It’s easy to reach from the train station, and the property is good overall. Breakfast can get a bit chaotic, but for the price you can’t really expect much more. I’d recommend the place.

We had a premium room on the 4th floor, and it was pretty quiet, at least during our stay. The room was clean and good, and the bed was okay. Free WiFi had enough bandwidth to watch some streams. There was a small kitchen with a microwave and capsule coffee maker, plus a small fridge that fit a few 1.5 liter bottles and other stuff. The safe was big enough for a 14" notebook.

The staff were the highlight, very attentive and friendly while constantly multitasking. The rooms were clean, and the center was only a 15-minute walk away. But they didn’t match what the booking pages described: no double beds, no desk, and a useless kitchen without even a mug or plate.

The rooms were clean, but there was no drinking water and no telephone for calling if I needed anything.

For what they cost, the rooms were really nice. The hotel isn't as central as I'd hoped, though most places in Mainz are still walkable.
