Hyatt Regency Mainz

The pool and jacuzzi were just right for relaxing, and the underground parking garage felt safe and secure. We booked a River View Club King Room for two nights, with a nice view and a bright, spacious room full of storage and mirrors. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept very well. I used the iron and ironing board. There were plenty of evening snacks and drinks at the club, with excellent service. Breakfast had a good selection and comfortable seating. The interior design was tasteful, and the location quiet and pleasant. We enjoyed our stay a lot. We’ve stayed at a few other hotels in Mainz, and this one gets our top rating. Service was great and efficient. Thanks to the team of Hyatt Regency Mainz! 🫶👍

I liked the front desk service, the storage space, and the huge TV that lets you cast from a phone or computer. The bathroom was great too, and its thick, solid door kept light from shining through if someone went in at night. I could easily walk everywhere I wanted from this location. The duvet barely covered the bed, and the AC didn’t cool the room well, so I woke up sweating every night. Around 9am, music starts playing somewhere, and you can definitely hear it in first-floor rooms. There was a conference during my stay, so it may not happen all the time. I’d absolutely stay again, but would ask for an upper floor and see if they can provide a larger, thinner blanket.

The staff were wonderfully helpful, and the hotel was beautiful. We stayed one night in Mainz for my partner’s birthday and wished we could have stayed longer. The bathroom’s enormous rain shower was a highlight, as was the nespresso machine and the complimentary birthday cake they sent up for my boyfriend.

The view of the river Rhine was beautiful, and the hotel itself is lovely with friendly staff. Our room was spacious and comfortable, though the chair was torn and the two separate shower handles made it tricky to get the hot and cold water right. Breakfast was okay, but there weren’t enough staff. At the current room rates, paying €27 per night for parking feels like a bit much to me, though it’s fairly common.
