The room was clean, but the shower looked like it might have mold. I can't say for sure what it was. The soap was dirty, so we called to ask for a replacement and were told we’d have to wait until morning, when we were checking out. A woman came to ask what was wrong, and she was very rude. I showed her the nasty stuff stuck to the soap. She said we could scrape it off, then scraped it with her finger, and the bit fell onto our room floor. It was disgusting. She did give us clean soap afterward, though I was still a little uneasy about using it. The soap comes in a bottle. My husband and I were so put off by her rudeness that we considered moving to another hotel. I wouldn’t stay here again. I guess you get what you pay for, but I’m not choosing the cheaper option again. It wasn’t worth all the hassle.

At first, being right at the edge of an industrial area seemed like an odd location, but it turned out to be pretty convenient. There’s a freeway nearby, plus a pharmacy, restaurants, grocery stores, and a train station just a few minutes away by car. Some rooms have kitchens, and the rooms are fine. The two staff members I met were very nice.

It was very clean, which was the main positive for me. The room was okay, but the beds were extremely narrow, about as wide as a person. If you turn over, you might fall out, so you have to turn in place. The building has no charm inside or out and looks like a Soviet-era apartment block. The pension may get good reviews, but I didn’t like it. The area felt isolated, with very few dim lights, and it was pretty scary. There’s no reception, just a dispenser for the room card, which made the isolation feel worse.

The rest is okay, but the internet is almost nonexistent, and that’s one of the most important things nowadays. It doesn’t look like the pictures, which are misleading. Please fix the internet, it’s terrible.
