The tram stop right outside is convenient, though the trams are noisy. It’s a charming 400-year-old historic building, in a nice area, and parking is possible on one of the side streets. My room’s fridge worked well, but the sockets kept falling out and the WiFi wouldn’t connect, so I had to work on my phone’s 5G. There’s no air conditioning, which was awful in 37-degree Celsius heat. The ventilator in my room didn’t work either, so I was glad I’d brought my own. By the time I found out, the staff had already gone home, as reception isn’t open 24/7. Dinner was chaotic and terribly hot with no air conditioning or ventilators. It took an hour and a half to get a drink, which was ridiculous. The food tasted quite okay, but was greasy, schnitzel and baked potatoes with no vegetables. Breakfast was good, with delicious bread, fresh fruit, and a perfectly boiled egg. Fresh orange juice would have been great.

The food really is very good, and it’s a nice place. Service was slow, though, and they completely forgot everyone’s appetizers. It’s worth trying if you have time and can put up with service that feels uninvolved.

The rooms and beds are small, and checkout time is too late. It’s a nice place overall, just cramped. The old furnishings make it quite interesting if you’re into that sort of thing.
