The room itself was spotless, the bed was really comfortable, and the shower had hot water. It is only 6m2, so very small, though that wasn’t a big issue for me while travelling. Getting the keys was easy, just use the code they provide. The kitchen was awful, it smelled bad and everything in it was in poor condition. I’m on the fence about the place, decent enough, but I wouldn’t particularly recommend it or warn people away.

My room was sort of clean, but I paid for two nights and chose to stay just one. There were smelly dumpsters and the area felt dodgy. The cheap-looking fabric lining didn’t help. It was noisy too, with a drunk craftsman shouting in the courtyard and kitchen staff making a racket outside my room from 6 in the morning. Better off camping, sorry.

The only good part was the sauna, which was free. My bedding smelled, even though it had been washed fairly recently. Between 4 p.m. check-in and 5 p.m. checkout, I had to shower twice just to cool down. The room must have been around 40 degrees Celsius, and even the bed was hot. A disaster. Horrible.

Getting there by public transport was easy, and check-in was simple and discreet. The room was small with its own bathroom, but the bathroom wasn’t clean and the bed wasn’t very comfortable.

It was easy to check in by myself, and the staff responded quickly. The room was basic, but clean and functional. Good value for the price, and only a few tram stops from Mannheim Main Railway station.
