Wasserturm Hotel

I did get a good night's sleep in a clean room, and the bathroom was very large and okay. The breakfast was okay too, but some cheeses and salami seemed not to have been replaced during the three days I ate there. Maybe some juices weren't refreshed either, which might explain why one tasted bad. There was no freezer in the room. The hotel has an abandoned feel, with no receptionist or anyone in the corridors most of the time. It's quiet, but doesn't feel like a hotel. A few small flaws kept me at two stars, though I nearly gave three. I might return if the price were much cheaper than the other options, but I wouldn't have breakfast there.

The location near the center is good value, and the reception and service staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a bit run down, especially the walls, which had dirty patches and a small hole in the drywall. Wi-Fi connected, but there was no working internet access on several devices.

The location is amazing, and the rooms are really big. In our case, we also had the prettiest garden. The place does feel a bit abandoned, and it isn't a regular hotel, but that doesn't make it bad.

Weird hotel. The reception smelled moldy, so we left without staying.
