I had a really pleasant stay in a spacious, clean room. The place is quiet and sits on a small hill, pretty much in the middle of nowhere. The only downside was that the guest house had already closed for the season, so there was no breakfast or dinner available. Thank you!
The breakfast was enough, and the room was a good size and well kept. I stayed one night while hiking the Kammweg trail and found the landlady very friendly.
The owner was so friendly and helpful, and our room was spotless and really comfortable. We came to ride the Stoneman trail, and this hotel sits right around halfway along the route, so we could do it over two days without switching places to stay. After a long ride, the little restaurant on the main road was just right, with delicious pizza only a two-minute walk away. We loved our stay and will definitely come back.
We'd already decided to return by the time we left, since we really didn't want to go. The welcome was so warm, and the rooms were immaculate and nicely decorated. The menu is short, but in such lovely surroundings, a three-course dinner isn't necessary. Thanks, Bärbel and family!
The food was delicious, even with a short menu, and the people were really authentic and welcoming. There's an Eastern European charm to the place, which feels right here. They take good care of their guests. Three thumbs up! :)
