Ferienwohnungen Ilsanker - Doffenlehen

The hosts live in the neighboring house and were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. For our next family holiday in this area, we'd gladly stay here again. Thanks for your hospitality. The apartment has a peaceful setting away from the tourist crowds, with beautiful mountain views, while still being close to the attractions. The one drawback is the bus stop: it's quite far away and practically impossible to reach on foot if you want to leave the car behind. There was plenty of parking right outside the house. Inside, the place was cozy, spotlessly clean, and well furnished. It has two bedrooms and four proper beds, with no makeshift sofa bed. The eat-in kitchen includes a fridge with a large freezer section, a stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and kettle. The dishes, cutlery, and glasses were all perfectly clean. In the living room there are a TV, table, and sofa, and Wi-Fi is available.

We stayed with the Ilsanker family from June 1st to June 7th, 2019, and it was a fantastic week. The apartment was clean, tidy, spacious, and comfortable, with a good bed and plenty of closet space. We parked right outside, and the terrace had lounge chairs and a parasol. Towels, kitchenware, and everything else were provided, so we only needed our clothes and toiletries. And the view was fantastic. The Ilsankers were very kind and often checked whether everything was to our liking. The weather was gorgeous too, around 25 degrees, though we know that was luck and not something they could arrange. Hallein and Berchtesgaden are about 15 minutes away, with all sorts of shops. Aldi is five minutes away for groceries, and there's a great restaurant with friendly prices just three minutes away. See our review of Gasthof Oberstein. We were two people staying for a week, and we'll miss this place when we're back in Rotterdam.

We were so happy with our relaxing holiday at Doffenlehen 8 that we're already looking forward to staying with the Ilsankers again next year. This was our second visit, and my husband, our German Shepherd, and I all thoroughly enjoyed it. It's easy to unwind and take in the beautiful surroundings here. Mr. and Mrs. Ilsanker are always glad to answer questions or have a chat. The apartments are cozy and spacious, with everything you need for a holiday, and the value for money is outstanding!!!
