Haus Koch-Lechner

The supermarket is right across the street, and the apartment is in the town center, but it was still wonderfully quiet. We spent a week there in August 2022 and found it very clean, peaceful, and cozy. Everything we needed was in place. The welcome was warm, and the whole stay was easy and uncomplicated. The owner was very friendly and available whenever we needed help. We stayed for a week in June and July 2022, and the apartment met all our expectations. It was exceptionally well kept and clean, had everything we needed, and came with a balcony. We can wholeheartedly recommend it.

We could rent bikes and do laundry right there, which was handy. The apartment was exactly as described and very clean, and the hosts were incredibly kind with useful tips whenever we needed them. We had a perfect holiday and would love to come back.

The location is handy for Lake Chiemsee, the mountains, and Salzburg, and there's a large EDEKA supermarket across the road. The apartment has parking right outside, a clean interior, and a kitchen that's fully equipped and roomy enough for four. We enjoyed breakfast on the sunny balcony. There are lots of maps and brochures for hikes, cycling, culture, and food, and the very friendly hosts are happy to help plan outings. My wife and I stayed with the Koch-Lechner family for a week in May 2023. We had to move our 2022 booking to 2023 for family reasons, and the deposit remained valid; communication beforehand was straightforward and, above all, timely. The value for money is very good, though VAT has to be included in the calculation since 2023. Bikes were available to rent inexpensively. They're a bit old, but worked perfectly well for what we needed. Everything was great, and we highly recommend it!
