The cakes were good, and the view and setting were lovely. The staff were kind, though a bit overwhelmed. They could also offer a better tea selection for a café.

A great base for hiking. The hotel feels cozy, the breakfast was great, and the homemade cakes were wonderful. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

After our hike, we stopped by Café & Hotel Daheim for cake and torte, with a pot of coffee for each. Both were delicious, and the service was friendly and efficient. We'll come again, and I highly recommend it.

I ended each afternoon of my short stay in Masserberg at Café Daheim. It's a lovely, quiet, cozy spot, and I really enjoyed the delicious cakes. I'd happily come back anytime.
