Getting here by private car is a good idea, since the hotel is quite far outside town. I've stayed in several rooms, and each was clean, well kept, nicely furnished, and had a good view. The beds are super comfortable, and I slept deeply. Complimentary water, tea, and coffee were provided too. Breakfast has always had a wide selection, beautifully prepared and filling. There was lots to try, especially the cheese and grilled vegetables. I've mostly been here for work retreats with colleagues, and it's a good place for meetings and retreats.

The pool table could use a little care, and the gym is very small with limited equipment. Still, the rooms are clean and well maintained, the food is very good, and the facilities are lovely. It's an amazing place.

This was my second stay at Hotel Rennsteig, and I really enjoyed the place again. I liked the rooms both times, the garage for my bike, the food, and the people working there. I don't get the complaints about the food, it was perfect for me and served by friendly staff. All the Dutch people I know were very happy with the hotel and our lovely week. There were 11 of us this time, and I hope there'll be more Dutch guests next time. One thing I don't enjoy is all the focus on fast riding and curves. Next year, I'd prefer a group slower than this year's slowest, and rides of 150 km at most instead of 280 km a day. Willem Laros photographer / writer Moto73

The staff were nice, the hotel is pleasant, and the food is great. The rest was fine too, but the internet was horrible. Wi-Fi was unusable about 80% of the time, so they need to improve it.
