We spent Easter here and got a very warm welcome. The apartment is quiet, well furnished, and very clean. Its small kitchen is well equipped for making your own meals, and dogs are welcome too. Free parking is a real plus in Masserberg, where street parking is prohibited. We can wholeheartedly recommend this place.

For a few days of hiking in beautiful Thuringia, this well-kept apartment is a great base. It's centrally placed for exploring the Rennsteig trail and nearby forest over several days, and you can leave the car in the private parking lot. If the weather turns bad, there's a local water park, and plenty more to see around here, so a week isn't enough. The friendly owners are happy to share, or even show you, their favorite mushroom spots and the area's most beautiful places. Highly recommended!

I wouldn't stay there again. The people were unfriendly and wouldn't listen.
