The food was great and came out quickly. But I felt uncomfortable with some of the staff, who seemed intrusive. While my partner and I were talking about what to order, I noticed the waitress and waiter looking at us and quietly gossiping. I eventually told the waitress that I felt watched.

There's a great view from up there, and the food is very good with reasonable prices. The staff are kind, too. A very nice spot, definitely worth a visit if you're in town and hungry.

The staff were very friendly, and both dinner and the varied breakfast were excellent. The restaurant is nicely appointed, and the number of people there in the evening seemed to reflect the quality of the food. We were very happy with our meal. The whole building was clean, as was our nicely furnished, well-equipped room. Outside, the grounds were tidy and the driveway to the small hotel and restaurant parking lot was clear. From the outside you can tell the building is a few years old, but we had a great weekend in Masserberg and can highly recommend this small hotel. Everything was perfect!
