Monika, the owner and host, is exceptionally friendly. The house is in an ordinary German neighborhood, without a special location or spectacular views, but it had exactly what we needed for the price. My cousin built the place about 25 years ago, and from what I've heard and know of him, Landhaus Monika will still be standing in 1000 years. The rooms and house were very clean, with simple, modern furnishings that lean toward minimalism, no extra ornamentation. It's conveniently near the airport and Messe. Breakfast was free and unlimited, with traditional German wurst, cheeses, a soft-boiled egg, fresh rolls with butter and jelly, plus muesli, yogurt, and fresh fruit from the Bodensee region. The coffee from the Jurra automated machine was excellent. WiFi was fast and free, which is useful when traveling internationally with limited hotspot data. Five stars for what it is, where it is, and what it costs.

We lacked nothing here. A lovely Bed & Breakfast, with a neat, clean room, a nice bicycle shed, and good breakfast. The hostess was super friendly and helpful.

On our cycling tour, this was just what we needed. There's a place to store bikes and charge an e-bike, plus a lovely room and a great breakfast. The hostess was incredibly warm, friendly, and helpful. We'd love to come back!

Booking was easy and the price was great. The house was very clean, with a large, bright room and good parking. Breakfast was good and plentiful. The owner was very nice and friendly, and the place is child-friendly. DM and Aldi are within walking distance.

The location worked perfectly for trips around Lake Constance. It's simple accommodation, but clean, and we had a private refrigerator in our room as well as a shared balcony to sit on. Breakfast had everything we could want, even Greek yogurt. The landlady was very friendly and even offered bread rolls to take away for free. We'd definitely return.
