The tablet-based sushi service is a great idea, and the sushi tasted very good. My lower rating is for the hotel’s service and organization. Breakfast was expensive, so I had high expectations, and you have to choose what you want, how much, and when, the day before. Even so, it arrived 20 minutes late and wasn’t what we’d ordered, which is a real problem with a tight meeting schedule. The service was very nice, but we were kept waiting a long time. They said they were short-staffed, so I’m not sure what to make of that.

Great-quality all-you-can-eat sushi, with fresh salmon sashimi and crunchy tempura. The big Temaki Lachs with fresh avocado was a favorite. A lovely meal, and I’ll definitely come back.

The building is old but very impressive, with lots of cute little nooks and crannies. The U-Bahn station is right outside, though construction disrupted the connection, so I had to take the bus and the trip into the city took much longer and was more complicated than expected. That wasn’t the hotel’s fault, but it’s worth knowing about the location. There’s no lift, and carrying a heavy suitcase up the wonky-looking stairs was a pain. The toilet had no ventilation and got smelly easily. The room’s air conditioning was broken, and I couldn’t air it out during restaurant hours because of the fried-food smell. It was also hard to find staff at reception.

There’s a big open terrace and really good all-you-can-eat sushi. The fusion menu had some tasty sushi I hadn’t seen before. Cozy place, see you next time!
