Osterather Hof

Everything was well organised, and the people there were warm and caring. It was a great, very pleasant stay. Thank you for all the attention we received.

The breakfast buffet was excellent, proper German style, with nothing fancy but everything good. I’m usually someone who skips breakfast when lunch and dinner are more appealing, but I tried it on the first day and was very glad I did. I missed the restaurant this time, so I’ll try it on my next visit. God willing, I’ll be back. I spent a week at Osterather Hof and had a great time. The current management took over a decade ago, renovated the rooms, and turned things around from how old-fashioned the hotel used to be. My single room was larger than I expected, with a view of the village church. It was furnished well enough and kept neat and clean by room service, who deserve a good tip. The shower was nice and the amenities were okay, though this isn’t a Grand Hotel.

I had to leave at 4 30 in the morning, so I missed breakfast, though what I saw them preparing looked great and I was given credit for not having breakfast. The staff were very nice and helpful, and their recommendations led me to a great dinner. The rooms had the latest amenities and were super clean. A good choice for flights or business in Düsseldorf. I’ll be back.

The staff were so friendly, and the service was exceptional. Even with the kitchen closed, they made us an afternoon snack. The manager went out of his way to help us with everything, including finding local businesses. Breakfast was very good and affordable, and we even had our friends join us on the terrace. It was perfect. My wife and I stayed three nights while visiting friends in Meerbusch. The hotel is cosy, with newly remodelled rooms and bathrooms, very comfortable mattresses, and everything was spotless. The rates are great, partly because there are no in-room phones or minibars. We got drinks at the hotel’s full-service bar, where prices were great, and used our mobile phones. Wi-Fi worked well with our iPhones and both Mac and Windows computers. We’ve already recommended the hotel to our friends and will definitely stay again on our next visit.
