Hagerhof

The Pfaffenbergers were extremely helpful, and we hope to return. Our self-catering apartment at Hagenhof felt spotless and homely after days spent exploring the working farm, which gave the children plenty to see and do. It was a lovely mix of farm life and modern comforts.

The quiet and all that green around us really stood out. Hagerhof is a lovely place for peaceful days, with comfortable apartments and quality furnishings. It's close to Chiemsee, handy for cycling, swimming in the nearby lakes, or visiting Salzburg, Rosenheim, and Munich. Parents can unwind while the children have fun.

A clean, healthy place for families, and a great spot to stay.

The animals were a highlight for the children, who got to feed them at the start and end of each day. Between that, we could swim at nearby Hartsee or take it easy on the farm. There were indoor play options in the cellar and covered barn for bad weather, and hiking and cycling were easy to do from there. We spent a week here as a family and could check in early after the Brenner Pass closure sent us to Lake Chiemsee very early. Communication was friendly and quick. The Pfaffenberger family stayed available and helpful when unexpected requests came up, even a meat tenderizer. The apartments had more comfort than we expected from a farm stay. A laundry room and other shared spaces had washing machines and an oven, so we could even bake birthday cakes. We had a fantastic vacation in a beautiful setting, and would recommend it.
