We stayed one night at Hezelhof. The room was clean, though there was no view, and we parked right in front. It’s in a good location in the city. We walked to breakfast at Hezel restaurant, which is part of the same owner’s chain. Dinner and breakfast were both good.

The staff were quite nice and helpful, but breakfast at the main hotel was too small for the number of guests. It got very crowded, and staff took a while to refill things, so the buffet plates were often nearly empty. The location is very good, though parking spaces are limited. We stayed at Luisenhof in a clean, fairly new room on the ground floor. I’d avoid that floor because guests coming through the main entrance made a lot of noise.

The breakfast buffet was great, and the staff and service were top notch. We had a wonderful hotel stay right in the center of town, with great views from the fourth floor. I’ll definitely come back.

I especially loved the mix of old and new that you find throughout Germany, and this hotel captures that really well. The historic streets of Dinklesbule were beautiful, and the breakfast prepared each morning was wonderful. It’s just a couple of blocks from the Christmas market. Everyone was kind and patient with my significant language barrier, too. This was one of my favorite things about Germany.

Our ground floor room, number 215, had a small outdoor seating area. It was spacious, with a clean, bright bathroom and a good shower with plenty of hot water. The place was nice, clean, and modern.
