We spent our evenings on the balcony, wrapped in blankets when it got chilly, listening to the church bells and looking over the charming Oldtown. The hanging nest chair was a lovely touch. Inside, the apartment was spacious enough for six, beautifully decorated, very comfortable, and felt safe. Everything was exceptionally clean and thoughtfully arranged, including a well-lit, cozy bathroom. The kitchen was fully equipped and stocked, with matching sets of six plates, cups, glasses, and utensils rather than a jumble of leftovers. It had a coffee maker, kettle, refrigerator, stove, microwave with grill function, and dishwasher. I was amazed how efficiently the dishwasher worked compared with our American one. There was also a TV in each room. The location is close to everything but still quiet. The host and his very nice children met us, showed us around, shared some history, and gave us local drinks, a much appreciated welcome. Two code-secured doors made it easy for our group to come and go without coordinating keys. Parking for the Gretel is on the street, with several free lots within a five-minute walk. Keep in mind the Gretel apartment is on the second floor. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great experience.

The hosts are very responsive and help with any questions or problems, which made our time in the apartment go well. If you’re visiting as a tourist, they’ll also suggest places to relax and spend the weekend. The apartment is clean, and the owners take care to keep it that way. It has everything needed, including a fireplace that makes evenings more comfortable. There’s also a large terrace where you can spend the evening with friends or smoke. The location is right in the old town center, with parking next to the front door and an electric car charger.

The Hänsel apartment is beautifully furnished, well equipped, and has the added bonus of parking. The hosts were friendly, and Dinkelsbühl is wonderful. A top-notch place, highly recommended ☆☆☆☆☆

“Right in the heart of it all” really sums up this temporary home. We rented both units and found the upstairs and downstairs apartments equally excellent. The location left nothing to be desired, and the house was spotless, well maintained, fully equipped, and lovingly furnished. The landlords were friendly and shared valuable restaurant tips, which you should definitely follow. Thanks for a wonderful week. We’ll certainly return to this beautiful old town and equally lovely accommodation.
