The location is simply gorgeous, and the service and food were lovely. I only stopped by the cafe, so I can't comment on the rooms, but from what I saw it must be a very nice place to stay. Everything looked incredibly clean, high spec, and well looked after.

The restaurant was exceptional, with an extensive menu, and the breakfast was by far the best we've had in three weeks in Europe. The interior is beautifully finished, the rooms are spacious and have all the amenities, and there's a spa area with saunas. A lovely, upscale place to stay, with helpful and accommodating staff.

The staff went above and beyond to make my visit as pleasant as possible. The service was absolutely top notch, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I'd highly recommend this hotel.

There's plenty to do within 20km if you enjoy the outdoors, from skiing and snowshoeing to trekking. Over our three-day stay, everything we ordered from the restaurant's wonderful menu was noticeably enjoyable. Our thanks and compliments to Sara and her wonderful crew! Schwarzaldhaus is a family-run guest house in a beautiful Black Forest valley. The accommodations were immaculate throughout, and everyone was exceptionally friendly, from the housemaids and servers to the owners. There was nothing we didn't like.

A pleasant stay. I was away from home for work, and appreciated how welcome and at home the employees made me feel.
