Hotel Garni Metzingen

I was here for two nights on a business trip. The place was very clean, and the staff were extremely helpful. Everything was just right. Highly recommend.

The weather didn’t cooperate with my reservation for a dry spell, unfortunately. I still found it a good place to stay: quiet, clean, and with a tasty breakfast. There’s no bar or restaurant in the building, which I actually liked since there was no noise or cooking smell. My room didn’t have much space for working on meeting notes and prep, but the internet was strong.

The room was spacious, clean, and reasonably priced, and the bathroom was well cleaned too. The location worked well for me, about a 10-minute walk from the train station and another 10 minutes on foot to the Outlet mall. Just be aware that the check-in desk is open only at certain hours, as shown in my first photo. Contact the hotel in advance if you’ll be checking in or out outside office hours.

Everything was super clean, with a nice room, spacious bathroom, and very friendly staff. The milk for the coffee had gone off, so I took one star off for service. It was a very hot day, though, so that was understandable. I was pleased with my stay and would come back.
