It's fine for hiking, but there isn't much to do nearby, and many Moselle attractions are quite a distance away. The old building has a lot of rustic charm and potential. Its age also makes it noisy, with the boiler and street sounds easy to hear. My handyman heart bled a bit over the cabinets that didn't close properly and the other little fixes.

This was our third holiday at Zehnthaus, and we still love the atmosphere in the lovingly furnished apartments. The Hunsrück has plenty of charm, and the owners are lovely, welcoming people. We took to them right away on our first visit. We'll be back! 😘

A cool place to stay in nature, with a fantastic tiny house full of lovely, practical details. Everything was great, and I'd gladly stay again. The composting toilet does take some getting used to.

It's otherwise really nice and cozy, but the kitchen badly needs renovating. The cobwebs and spiders should be cleaned out too.
