Pension Schwalbennestl

There was so much peace and quiet, with nature all around, which I really enjoyed. The apartment was small but arranged just right, and the view across the Karwendel mountains was breathtaking. It was clean and well cared for, the bed was comfortable, and I had everything I needed.

Both the bedroom and kitchen open onto balconies looking straight out to the village and those beautiful mountains. The rooms are a good size, and the couple who run the Schwalbennestl are incredibly welcoming and friendly. The one downside was the bed, which creaked loudly whenever I turned over at night.

Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of variety, and everything was easy and straightforward. The family running the guesthouse were warm and accommodating, always happy to answer questions. Every room has a mountain view, and I don't think I've ever seen one like it. We'd love to return.

We felt completely at ease during our three lovely nights at the Schwalbennestl, and wanted for nothing. The welcome was very warm, and the whole setup is thoughtfully done. Our room was clean, well equipped, and even had a little kitchenette. Check-in is easy too, with a key box if nobody is there when you arrive. You can request breakfast, with fresh rolls available, and there's a drinks fridge and a pleasant sun terrace to relax on. The place is ideally located for bike rides, and it's close to the mountain railway, with lovely walks and hikes starting nearby. We were very happy with our stay and can wholeheartedly recommend it.
