One of the worst breakfasts I've ever had. A worker opened my room and came in while the sign was hanging on the door, because they needed to change a lock.

The outside didn't make a great impression on me, but I really enjoyed the stay and would come back. The place is quiet and green, with plenty of parking, and the view over the lake, town, and greenery from the room is calming and lovely. There's a small jetty for swimming or taking SUP boards onto the lake. You can book the sauna privately, and breakfast comes with a beautiful view and a small glass of prosecco. Staff were very friendly. Both times we went to the sauna, though, it hadn't really been cleaned, and there were no towels, so we had to get some ourselves. They couldn't provide a vegan breakfast, but kindly pointed out the vegan options they did have: oats, fruit, vegetables, jam, and bread.

We went for a show and a really good meal, so I can't comment on the hotel. The food was delicious and service was very good. It's a lovely place for dinner or an event. Five stars!
